Local Service. Global Good.

In celebration of International Credit Union Day this past October 16th and our 100 Million Credit Union Membership Campaign, the El Paso Chapter of Credit Unions held a canned food drive during the month of October and November to benefit the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger food bank.  The results were tremendous and just in time for Christmas.

The 100 million membership campaign aims to commemorate and publicize the achievement of credit unions reaching 100 million memberships (100MM) nationwide. With this initiative, we hope to spread the word to even more consumers about the credit union difference across America – and to show the growing strength of credit unions as a positive force in providing financial services to consumers and small businesses.

The El Paso Chapter of Credit Unions is a nonprofit organization consisting of El Paso area credit unions.  It promotes unity among credit unions through communication, training and participation in community, state and national projects that support the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement.   Through the chapter, El Paso area credit unions collaborate to further their shared philosophy of people helping people through community initiatives.
